Our Man in the Fifth
CASE 02/SCAFFOLDING CONTRACTOR /SOUTH WEST

Paperwork moved on to digital tools. The whole firm runs off a phone.

A South-West scaffolding contractor running on paper and a website that sold nothing. Records digitised, the site rebuilt, and the whole operation moved onto mobile.

01THE STATE IT WAS IN

The firm was running on paper. Slow, easy to lose, and a real problem for compliance.

Behind the scenes there was a tangle of legacy systems and account access to sort out, and a website that did nothing to sell a firm that deserved to be busy.

02WHAT I DID

First I got the firm back into clean control of its own systems and accounts. Then I rebuilt the website so it actually sells their great service.

I built the firm its own software, running off the phones the crews already carry: digital safety inspections that produce a proper HSE record, timesheets, and a shared team diary. Paper gone, records sound, everyone singing off the same hymn sheet.

Alongside that, social media assets and toolkits, and a cold outreach setup aimed at the channel partners that bring scaffolding work in.

03THE RESULT

The firm is in clean control of its systems. Every inspection is logged from a phone and stands up as an HSE record. Timesheets and the diary look after themselves.

The website sells and the outreach brings leads. A business that was running on paper and goodwill now runs on proper systems.
